Who Would Buy This?

More and more people are looking for versatility as well as portability in their computers, and the ASUS Transformer Book Duet surely delivers on both counts. Those who are looking for a multi-tasking laptop that can be easily switched to tablet mode will definitely like this unit. Since it is dual OS – Windows 8.1 and Android 4.2.2 – compatibility issues won’t be a problem.

Things We Like

There are so many things to love about this seemingly nondescript laptop. First of all is its convertible design. It’s like having a laptop and a tablet in one unit! This definitely adds up to the portability of this convertible, since you no longer have to purchase a laptop and a separate tablet to fully take advantage of each of their features. The merging of two operating systems in this single computer is also quite a coup. Not only does it run on Windows 8.1, you can also easily switch it to Android 4.2.2, and all it takes is a push of a single button. The Instant Switch button is very handy, and you won’t have to wait minutes for the switch to happen, because in just two seconds, you can switch from Windows 8.1 to Android 4.2.2, or vice versa. We also like how sensitive the multi-touch display is.

And you will also be greatly impressed by the true-to-life quality of the audio, thanks to ASUS SonicMaster technology, and produces by the tablet’s dual speaker. The docking system, which adds a 1 TB hard drive, is also a very good addition to this already impressively jampacked laptop and tablet convertible. Things We Don’t Like At first glance, it is quite on the bulky side, especially when you add in the attached keyboard, but that is a small price to pay, considering its versatility and many wonderful features.

Information on warranties or applicable guarantees for this product is yet to be released.

Is It Worth The Money?

With the ASUS Transformer Book Duet, you are basically getting a 4-in-1 device: a Windows laptop and tablet, and an Android laptop and tablet. That fact alone is enough to make us conclude that this is definitely worth the money.

Where Can I Buy?

Aside from the ASUS store, the ASUS Transformer Book Duet is bound to make its way to legitimate merchants such as Amazon. Expect to avail of this product with deals and promos such as discounts and even free shipping.

Final Thoughts

Forget toggling and switching various devices for your computing needs, because now you only need one: the ASUS Transformer Book Duet.
